I’m a big fan of Aidit Alfian. That is one of the reasons why I actually bought this album at the first place. I’m just in love with Aidit’s music. He’s great and very creative and also visionary.

Forget about my love to Aidit’s music for a while, let’s talk about this album. Must remember, this is only an opinion from a loyal listener of local music. Hahaha! I’ll try my best not to be so judgmental or bias.

The 1st single “kau atau aku” a.k.a Main tarik tali is a hit! I never actually like this song for the first few time hearing it. But today, I love it! The popular song in the radio wave at this moment, “Kalis Rindu” is a very fun song. I like the way Elyana sang the song. Macam ala-ala malas nak nyanyi. A very creative song and can give impact to our local music scene. It’s different and not typical Malay-pop song. I love the lyric too!

Other song by Aidit is Molek, Kasih berkalih tuju, Bukannya satelit, and Syukur kusedar. What can I say; I love all Aidit’s songs in this album. Wow! Huhuhu! Molek is my current favorite! It’s cheeky and fun. The melody is fun!! The pre chorus and chorus are extremely fun to sing-along!

Bukan Satelit is a fresh-air of ballad song in Malaysia. I like the part “Jangan begitu…, siksa dirimu…” Cool! The lyric by Ad Samad is kinda weird but very creative. Salut! Syukur kusedar is another great ballad song in this album. It is love at the first hear for me! Hahaha! Not like typical or cliché ballad song that Elyana always sang before, especially in her debut and 2nd album. It has the scary melody that makes me nervous or easily said, meremang bulu roma! C’est Genial!

The new version of Niat (Patrick Khamis) is over my expectation. The new arrangement is edgier and has rocks elements. Its reminds me of the arrangements by Anto Hoed. Wow!

Other songs that are included in this album are, Hati Berbentuk Cinta by Marlin/Loloq (Love the lyric but sorry, I didn’t really got the melody), Ku Jadi Teman by Marlin/Ad Samad (another great and fun song), and Jambatan Mana (love it too! Haish!).

As a conclusion, this album is worth every part of my money, never a second I regretted for spending my very limited money for this album. Please give applause to everyone that was involved with this album and extra applause (plus standing ovation) to the creative Aidit Alfian, Ad Samad, Loloq, Alfa Booty and Elyana. Elyana is so lucky to have this great tem to work for her album. I envy her! Hahaha!

Last Saturday, 19th January was a very long, exciting and bizzare day for me. Lots of things happened! Lets start from the beginning of the day. okay!

.

I woke up at 10 am because I want to join my friends linn and pijan go to a singing competition at MBSA office. its just for fun la. Around 10.15 pijan arrived at my house and linn picked both of us around 10.35 am. then, we fly to MBSA. At the office, we try to find the venue for the audition but it is so confunsing till we sesat about 1/2 hour. hahaha. its such a big place!

.

Arriving at the audition's place, we are suprised because there were only us. no one interested to join that competition i guessed. Linn sang 'aku bukan untukmu' by Rossa beautifully (as usual), Pijan sang 'kau pergi jua' by adam Ahmad soulfully (as usually) and i sing 'seribu tahun' by Imran Ajmain. everything go well and we were asked to go back home adn they will informed us by phone if we accepted for the next round.

After singing at MBSA, we went for lunch at Sek9. I told pijan and linn about the clearance stock sale at Reject shop at jaya sek14 Pj. we decided to check out the sale. my friend syafin and her new friend joined us.

.

I bought 6 boxers! It's really cheap. RM6. Usually around 9.90. hahaha. Then we decided to check out the youth fest at PWTC. tambahan budak-budak renjers ramai kat sana. (Pijan is one of them). On the way to PWTC plak jam gila! bengang siot!

.

While we're getting bored in the car, i got a phone call from my housemate, Irwan, the conversation goes like this....

Irwan: Ared,,,awak katne?

Me: On d way to PWTC. knp?

Irwan: Camne nyanyi td? ok?

me: Ok-la.

Irwan: mmm....takde, saya nk tanya ni. mana laptop awk?

me: kat tempat biase la. tepi tilam. ada? nk pinjam amk la.

Irwan: takde pun. awak ada sorok kat mana2 tak?

me: tak lah. cubalah tgk kalo2 ada kat bawah bantal.

Irwan: mmmm... takdelah.

Me: eh?!!!

Irwan: Ared,,, saya rasa kan....

Me: what?

Irwan: saya rasa kan,,,, umah kita kena masuk. laptop awak kena curi.

Me:ASTAGA! is this for real? OMG!

Irwan: ya...

Me: apa lagi yg hilang?

Irwan: Video cam saya.

my steps to pwtc was slow then. My happy mood was totally out of me. tapi, tuhan itu maha adil dan penyayang. when he takes something from you, he gives something else. I was happy when i got a ticket to watch Nidji at RUUM. Im a big fan of Nidji kan...

It’s a new semester and I’m a senior! Hahaha! I’m in my final semester. Hooray! Finally all the hard work comes to its final period of time. But one thing for sure, I’ll miss all the memories of life as a university’s student.

I’ll be going to Bangkok on the 6th of February and I can’t wait to go. Tak sabar! Huhuhu! It’s been along time I’m fasting from shopping since I got my ptptn. Hahaha. So memang nk borong habis kat Bangkok la! I’ll go to Bangkok with my friends Ica n Syaqila and their friends. Naik tren lagi tau! memang keje gila! tapi disebabkan kami ni berangan-angan nk bercuti "backpacker's style" kena redah jugak lah! huhuhu...

An Un-Happy Fairytale ~ A tale of Zuc and the people of Kewdny

Once upon a time, in a very far country called Velucas, live a 17 years old orphan, Zuc. Zuc live by himself at a very small cottage near the Velleen river that flows clean and clear water. At Velucas, it is normal to get married at the very young age between 16 to 20 years old. This is because the people of Velucas didn't accept and agree on pre-marital sex and they are usually sexually active at the age of 16.

Unluckily, Zuc is not good looking at all. His eyes were a little bit close together, his nose is very round and big and he also have huge gap between his frontal teeth. All the girls in the entire Velucas did not want to be in love with Zuc. Behind his not-so-good looking features, Zuc actually is a descent, honest, independent, loyal and good young man. He felt so sad when people judge him by his looks.

Everyday, Zuc will pray to GOD almighty so that one day he can live in a place where people did not judge him by his looks but appreciates his good heart and other defined qualities.

One day, his prayers come true. While he was by the river fishing a fish for dinner, he accidentally fell into the river. The flow is very strong that he could not swim to save his life. 2 days later, the river brought him to a place that is quite far from Velucas. The people from that place called Kewdny save him and make sure that Zuc's health conditions back to normal. Zuc was so relieved when he found out that people of Kewdny was very friendly to him.

One thing about the people of Kewdny is everyone in that small country (as a size of a village in Velucas) is good looking. Most of the womens have natural beauty that is beyonds words to describe. The mens of Kewdny are handsome with the feature that will make all the girls in Velucas faint. Everyone in Kewdny have blonde hair, clear-blue eyes and tan skin colour. No one in this country is not good looking (or ugly).

When Zuc was in a better condition, he took a walk in the city and everyone in Kewdny look at him as if he is the most handsome men around. They felt that Zuc is unique and have special qualities not like the rest of them that are only crazily good looking and charming. Imagine, in a city where everyone is good looking, you're not special at all! (If you are good looking too!) dull!

Every girls in that town ask Zuc to marry them and they promise to love him with all of their heart. Zuc love the attention that he received. He never felt that way before. To be admire and love.

A year later, after marrying to 5 beautiful womens in Kewdny, (you can marry to 25 wife at the same time in Kewdny. Scary!) Zuc felt that his life become more boring than ever. This is because he had realised that all the womens in Kewdny like him because of his unique look and not because of his good heart. He now understand how a good looking man in Velucas can felt.

He realised that this is not what he want. He wanted to seek for his true love. He make a decision to go back to Velucas and find his true love. A person who love him because of who he are and not by how he look. Will Zuc found his true love? You decide....

Siti Nurhaliza baru sahaja mengeluarkan album studio ke-12 beliau bertajuk “Hadiah Daripada Siti”.Album ini memuatkan 11 buah lagu:-

Untuk mengatakan ini adalah album terbaik daripada Siti, saya rasa tidak. Mungkin saya lebih suka pada album-album Siti sebelum ini seperti Pancawarna, Safa dan Transkripsi. Tapi ini mungkin hanya pendapat peribadi saya sebab lain orang lain citarasa kan?!

Setelah mendengar album ini sekali lalu, lagu “Cintamu” ciptaan Sharon Paul dan lirik oleh Fedtri Yahya sangat berkesan di hati saya. Saya harap lagu ini akan dipopularkan Siti nanti. Mungkin lagu ini dapat mengulangi kehebatan lagu “Aku cinta padamu”. Rentak lagunya sangat enak didengar dan otak saya mudah saja menyerap bait-bait liriknya. Nyata inilah lagu kegemaran saya dari album Siti kali ini. Tapi saya ni selalunya pelik sikit. Lagu yang saya suka jarang popular. Seperti lagu “Ku menunggu” dari album Prasasti Seni, lagu “Salju KasihNYA” dari album Pancawarna dan lagu “Bila Harus Memilih” dari album Transkripsi.

Lagu-lagu lain yang saya suka dari album ini ialah lagu “Melawan Kesepian”, “Mulanya Cinta”, “Hati”, “Sutramaya” & “Sekian Lama”. Lagu “Melawan Kesepian” adalah sebuah lagu balada yang seronok didengar. Perkara yang paling saya suka tentang lagu ini ialah vokal Siti yang tidak “over do it”. Selalunya, kalau lagu sebegini, pada ulangan chorus kedua kedua dan ketiga, pasti Siti akan menunjukkan kehebatan suaranya. Tapi untuk lagu ini, memang cantik apabila Siti kekal sederhana hingga ke akhir lagu. Love it! Good Job Kak Siti!

Lagu “Mulanya Cinta” pula membawa saya terimbau kenangan manis menonton P.Ramlee The Musical. Setiap kali mendengar lagu ini, pasti saya akan terbayang babak perpisahan antara P.ramlee. Dan Azizah. Lagu “Hati” yang dipetik dari filem Hati Malaya arahan Suhaimi Baba pula boleh saya kategorikan sebagai antara lagu patriotik yang paling menyentuh hati. Lagu dan liriknya sangat mudah dihayati.

“Sutramaya” karya Aubrey Suwito juga sedap didengar. Chorus lagu ini sangat mudah diikuti dan diingati. Saya suka lagu ini. “Sekian Lama” ciptaan Azlan Abu Hassan juga menarik. Bagi peminat setia Azlan seperti saya mereka pasti tahu lagu ini “tipikal Azlan”. Tanpa melihat pada lampiran album pun saya boleh cam yang lagu ini ciptaan Azlan. Seperti lagu-lagu Azlan yang lain seperti Selagi Bertahan(Jac), Fantasi Sebuah Cinta(Adibah) & Elegi Sepi (Azharina) lagu ini nyata tidak mengecewakan. Lagu ini saya kira amat sesuai dijadikan single kedua dari album ini selepas lagu “Kumahu”.

Sebagai peminat setia Siti mungkin ulasan saya ni agak berat sebelah. Maklumlah, dah suka semuanya nampak best kan. Tapi saya dah sedaya upaya menilai album ini sambil mengenepikan perasaan sebagai peminat setia Siti. Saya harap dalam album akan datang Siti akan bekerjasama dengan Roslan Aziz pula. Mesti ada kelainan kan! Saya juga suka sangat kalau Siti kembali menyanyikan lagu Aidit Alfian yang sangat genius tu! Hahaha! Untuk peminat-peminat setia Siti, album ini wajar dibeli!!! ***1/2

I went to Rantai on 14th and 16th. Congrats to all the AJK. It was fun! For the art gallery, im in luve with Jojo's artwork! Kewl gile! Cayalah! Keep it comin and feed me more with your art!!! Tenang is GREAT!

Next year, I will experience lots of love unity among my best friends. Its exciting kan! Ika & Iman, Lia & Ady will kahwin n Lisa & Hafez plak akan bertunang. Congrats you guys! I'm happy for all of you! To have a friend that will get marry is fun but to have a friend that get marry to your other friend is super-extra fun! Hahaha!

Is it fine to dream?

I’ll be finishing my study in broadcasting by May 2008. That’s makes me think of the option that I have after graduation. Before this, I never thought about this thing seriously. When people asked me what I want to do after getting my degree, I just said I want to seek for a job. Never once in mind that I want to further my study to the higher level like taking master etc.

But recently, (maybe I don’t realize a thunder struck me or so whatever) my heart told me that I really want to continue my study. I dream to continue my study in the U.K (London to be specific). I don’t know why I choose London (or maybe I know!) but it’s seems like an interesting place to study!

So I check out the Malaysia’s British Council website to find the universities available that may have the course that will interest me. I asked myself, what course would I like to take to continue my study? Erm….. Should I go for broadcasting (again?!), scriptwriting (maybe!), creative writing (sounds cool!) or maybe photography? Aargh! Too many option!!

I just randomly check the option on the website and trust me, lots of interesting course are available! (even courses that I didn’t know ever exist!) But, I’m devastated too read the amount of fees that I should pay if I want to further my study. It is between, £6000 to £12000 not including accommodation and foods. That is a lot!!! My parents never will afford that much! In Malaysia, you can buy a house with that much of money.

So, the only option left is try to get a scholarship. Luckily my friend Helmi has the same struck and together we will try seeking for scholar (at least I’m not alone here!). But in the meantime, if I failed to continue my study in London, maybe I should find a job or continue my study in UiTM(huhuhu…).

Aduh! it's been a VERRRRRRRRRRRy long time i tak update my blog! i miss it so much! masa dan keadaan mmg tak membenarkan aku online sbb keadaan aku yang terlampau busy. Currently I'm working at my dad's shop. Di waktu yang sama menyiapkan projek filem "Epidemik Cinta Kuala Lumpur" (nanti i cerita about it in next2 post!), dan juga menyiapkan novel bertajuk "superstar" yang asyik tergendala.

Dalam kesibukkan yang melanda, aku sempat juga menghabiskan novel by Emily Giffin, "Something Blue". I just fall in love with the covers! tapi bukan yang macam kat atas ni sbb cover yang aku beli aku tak jumpa on the net! Ini merupakan buku kedua daripada Giffin. Novel pertamanya berjudul "Something Borrowed". tapi aku tak sempat nak baca buku tu lagi sebab baru je jumpa.

SUPERB-AMAZING-AN ABSOLUTE PAGE TURNER!!!!!!

Kelakar juga dengan sikap Darcy yang sangat entah apa-apa dan selfish gila babi! tapi bila direnung balik, aku ada banyak sikap Darcy. Dalam cerita ni, u will fall in love and hate Darcy almost at the same time. Memang kalau baca mula2, u will hate rachael sbb die sanggup ambil tunang Darcy, Dex selepas (atau sebelum) mereka berdua break-up.

Tapi at the same time anda akan kesian dengan Dex sbb Darcy pun curang. The most interesting fact about this novel is you will hate and love the characters at the same time, most of the time. walaupun ending cerita ini agak boleh diteka, tapi mmg best!! rugi sape tak baca...! i salute U Emily!!!

Next I would like te read "something Borrowed" and "baby proof" both by emliy giffin. I just add her as one of my favourite author besides Jane green, Cecilia Ahern and Tony Parson.

engkau laksana bulan....

Huish! Lama gila tak update blog ni. I'm busy completing my thesis. Now, it's over! I'm quite confident to get a 4.00 GPA for this semester result. Plus, this semester is not so ‘that’ hard... hahaha berlagaknya!

I think it's not so late to wish Happy Mubarak Eid to all my readers (as if kalau ada!). My raya was 'biasa2 aja!'. Extra special sebab tahun ni jatuh pada my birthday so maybe best skit dari tahun2 lepas. Yang tak bestnya bila memikirkan yang mungkin tahun ni ialah tahun terakhir I will get duit raya. Yelah, I'll finish my degree by May next year, so maybe dah tak dapat lagilah ang-pow next year. sob...sob...

Last friday, I went to watch P.Ramlee The Musical. Susah nk gambarkan musical ni dalam satu perkataan je sebab memang best sgt! Congrats to the team yg diketuai Mr Zahim n Mr Adlin. Tak lupa juga buat Datin Tiara. Can't wait for the next one to come! Good Job Guys!!!!

My achu said, dia rasa Liza Hanim mmg hebat. walaupun berkongsi stage dgn Siti, Tapi mmg Liza lebih menonjol. Tak dinafikan mmg bakat lakonan Liza hebat. Tapi, kita kena ingat yg dia membawa watak Saloma. jadi karakternya sendiri sudah besar. seharusnya dia lebih hebat dari Azizah lakonan Siti. Tapi waktu siti menyanyi, i got goose bump!! She never fails to do that to me! suara Siti mmg tiada tandingan.

Atilia sebagai Junaidah mmg perfect sekali. Suara Atilia tak payah nk pertikai lagi. Bakat lakonan mmg boleh dipuji sbg first timer. Tapi saya paling kagum dgn lakonan Melissa Saila sebagai Norizan. dia nampak cantik persis Marilyn Monroe. Walaupun nyanyiannya kadang2 off...tapi itu semua tidak dihiraukan kerana setiap baris yang terucap dari mulutnya tidak kira kata atau nyanyian mmg dapat dirasai.

Last, Sean Ghazi as P.Ramlee- I just wanna say, "I salute U!". I never like this guy. But, He as PRamlee is SUPERB! Cuma dia menyanyi sebagi Sean dan bukan Pramlee. Lagi satu, kadang2 dia Nampak tenggelam bila berlakon disamping Melissa Saila, Siti, Liza Hanim dan atilia. Nyata aura wanita2 ini lebih besar.

Scene yg paling disukai ialah waktu shooting antara Saloma dan Pramlee. Memang kelakar! Lagi sekali I will like to congrats all team crew of PRTM! Superb n amazing!

p/s: yg list pasal benda yg tak best internship kat rtm tu rasenya tak payah post la....huhuhu. tak baik burukkan org yang dah berjasa...hahaha

Thanks GOD! It’s finally over! My 4 month internship period at Unit Drama TV RTM has finally come to its end! Yeah!

A friend asked me, “ Apa benda yang paling best sepanjang kau buat internship kat RTM?” and I’m like terdiam kejap. Bukan sebab takde lansung kenangan manis, tapi semuanya bukanlah seperti yang aku bayangkan. So, I said to my friend, “Thank you for asking that very good question. But, you have to read my blog soon for the answer.” Sebenarnya, bukan nak promote blog ni kat kawan yang tak pernah singgah, tapi the truth is, I need some times to answer the question with the most correct answer. So, I came out with this list.

YANG BEST!

• -1st, best sangat sebab dapat kerja kat tempat di mana my favourite lecturer (Puan Lola) pernah kerja. (Unit Drama TV RTM)
• -Dapat banyak kakak dan mak angkat yang baik hati, ramah dan pemurah. (No Kidding!)
• -Dapat melancong ke Yan, Kedah yang best sebab banyak air terjun dan sawah padi. Sebelum ni, tak pernah sampai kat tempat tu, so, it’s interesting!
• -Dapat kenal dengan dua mamat yang cool dan boleh dibuat kawan baik. Pat (atau nama sebenarnya Shafiq. Ceh! “Pat” la konon!) and Hadi. Rasanya ni yang paling best kot. I just love the fact dapat kenal dengan budak 2 ekor ni.
• -tak penat sangat dan boleh pergi shopping or tengok wayang hari-hari!
• -Keje office hour je! (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri) hahaha! Memang kewl!
• -Hari-hari balik awal! (Of coz lah tanpa pengetahuan mereka)
• -Free internet everyday! (Walaupun kena queue, tapi takpe!)
