so right but yet so wrong

pix by *julkusiowa

How can something feel so right can be so wrong? Can someone please answer the question that keep running in my head since ever. Yes, you all must be damn bored already when you guys know that the question is related to my love life. Love is damn complicated right?! (sigh! Sigh! Sigh!)

This kind of wrong-feel-so-right thingy sometimes make me so tired to fall in love anymore (or again). Oh God, for a while, please avoid the feeling from me. I don't want to fall in love in 2-3 years from now.

Talking about love, I had experienced all the common drama/ tragedy. 1) Truly love someone that will never love me. Done. 2) Someone that I will never love, love me so much. Done. 3) Truly love someone that truly love me back but we can't fall in love. Done!!!! Yay for me! I can get an award with the title “ Achievement of a lifetime – in love Drama”. Hahaha. =(

Love suppose to be so easy. Love can make the world so peace. But when you're in love tragedy, the world seems to be like the hardest place to live. (Habis tu kau nak duduk katne ared?!) People say that love is the medicine for a lonely heart. But what if there's no love? I guess I'll get the epidemic of loneliness. (sigh! Lagi...)

p/s: I love you sooo much, but I just can't. Sorry.

Lots of things happened lately but i just don't have the urge to write. Maybe because I am so tired. (Penat ke? haha!) For a start, I already got my driving license (at last). Now I have the love-to-drive car syndrome. It's common to people that just get their licences maybe. But I don't like to drive the manual car. It's just so hard! Luckily my dad cars are automatic. Ghee!

I went to Rantai Event last Saturday. I don't like it this year especially the art exhibition. Nothing much to see. Not that interesting accept for the lomokids and a picture by palancut. I got to watch Ana Raffali performed live at rantai that evening. With Aidit Alfian and Andy Flop Poppy backing her up on music, It's a blast! she's so sweet, and her music... WOW! No wonder Aidit always promoting her music to me. Jaga-jaga abg aidit! dah ada pesaing ni! haha!

Other than that, on the same time at Sg. wang rooftop, there's a free a gig called U.O.X play. Got the chance to see one buck shot playing. I really want to see White Shoes & The Couples Company play but i got to went home early. too bad! maybe next time.

Films

I love to watch films. Interpretation of a good or great films may varies to individual. To define a good film is not easy. There are so much aspect to be considered. But for me, I like to see the content of the film either it's strong or not. But sometime, a simple story with a strong presentation can be a great film. So,
according to me, this is the list of film everybody should watch at least once in a lifetime.

Best Experimental Film

Director:Gus Van Sant Release Date: 3 October 2003 (Italy)
Tagline:
An ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.

You should watch this because...
to me, this the BEST film ever. For the 1st hour, you may not understand what the film all about but then you'll surely be surprise because it's not an ordinary film. At the end of this movie, I'm like "Oh!... Oooh! OMG! so on". So you get what I mean. I'm satisfied.

Most Beautiful Film

Director:Yasmin Ahmad Release Date: 6 April 2006 (Malaysia)
Tagline: Why do we hurt the most, The ones we love the most?

You should watch this because...
to me, this is Malaysia's best film. It's so beautiful just because. Watch it to know what I mean by that. If you're clever enough you'll get it. Haha... and this film also is so funny (Especially the 'race to the hospital' and ' orked dancing on the lorry' scene.)
Best Comedy Film

Director:Jean-Marc Vallée Release Date: 3 March 2006 (Italy)
Tagline: Growing up in this family, you'd have to be... C.R.A.Z.Y.

You should watch this because...
it's damn CRAZY! It's a witty and funny film.

Best Crime Film

Director:Alejandro González Iñárritu Release Date: 16 June 2000 (Mexico)
Tagline: Love. Betrayal. Death

You should watch this because...
lots of reasons!

1. Inarritu is brilliant
2. Gael garcia is also brilliant.

3. the first 10 minutes blow me away. Imagine the rest of this movie.
4. too lazy to write. =)

Best Drama Film

Director:Robert Redford Release Date: 2 March 1981 (Sweden)
Tagline: Everything is in its proper place... Except the past.

You should watch this because...
it's draggy as hell, make me sleepy all the way but still, I damn love it! It's a love-hate relationship between me and this film.

Senyuman yang Sempurna

Currently, I am busy with my new script called 'Senyuman yang sempurna' (working title). My strategy now is to finish writing lots of script first before submitting to any production house. Senyuman yang Sempurna basically is about a girl name Syami that try to find a boy name Dani so that she can tell him his mother last words before she past away. The storyline is quite complicated but I've work it out. The treatment have been completed and now I am busy writing the dialogue. Yes, it's the hardest part! huhuhu...

KAMI - The Movie

I am a big fan of the TV series. What makes KAMI is so lovable is that the story is so real can be relate to almost all the urban teenagers. It's quite similar to what I see or experience throughout my life in KL. Gigs, drugs, groupies, shoplift, funky trend, music, etc .

About the movie, I enjoyed watching it and surely I love it so much. For sure it's not 100 % perfect but this movie is worth it to be considered. Congrats to Effendee Mazlan and Fariza Azlina Isahak. Good job guys, on bringing indie world to the big screen.

Now, step in to my comments. Firstly, I would like to talk about the storyline. If you never watch the series, this movie is great on the story. Although the story is simple, it is so entertaining. As a die hard fan of the tv series, I spot some lacking on the story. For example, I am disappointed that that this movie did not show more on Adii (ZAYANAH IBRAHIM) story. I love the story about Adii and her deaf mother in the series and it's a disappointment when I realized that the continuity of their relationship is not in the movie. One more thing, if u stick on the series, you'll realized the coldness in the relationship between Ali (Syarul Ezani) and his mother. They are not that cold in this movie for sure. I don't get it! The movie told more stories on Lyn, Ali and Abu, a little bit of Sofie drama and totally left Adii out from the picture.

On the technical part, the cinematography is very light and easy to watch but I did not get any cinematic feel from watching this movie. It's like watching the series at the cinema. Not watching movie at the cinema. Get what I mean? Huhuhu. Easily said, the movie is very easy on eyes and trough. And I do agreed on Razaisyam (iamstradust.blogspot.com) comments that the editing and color correction can be improve to make this movie more extravagant.

And now, my favorite part. Critics on the cast. Lets start with Liyana Jasmay as Lyn. I do agree that she's looking damn hot in the movie. So gadis urban! I just love her expression when Lyn got in trouble. Nice. She's good but not perfect yet. But a big future for her in this entertainment industry. Nas T as Abu is so Great with a capital G!! I am so impressed with his acting and I am not surprise. Juliana Sophie as Sofie is boring... She's not bad at all but another beautiful pan-asian girl that 'OK-ly' can act bore me! And her voice is sometimes was irritating. She needs something extra to make me love her. Ezani as Ali and Zayna as Adii were also 'ok2 aje'. Nothing surprising. Ezani have to work out more on his expression and dialog. Zayna for me doing a good job but there's nothing much to comment because the character is so limited.

To my surprise, the bad boy in this movie, Boy played by Zahiril Adzim blow my mind. Other than Nas T, Zahiril Adzim is the next big thing. It's a shame for Ezani when Zahiril Adzim steal the light when Ali is part of the KAMI gang and Boy is not. I am so in love with Zahiril Adzim, I hope to get him to act in my future movie. He's so talented and I believe there's a lot more to explore with his talent.

So guys, watch KAMI the movie! ***1/2
